We can trust in God because He is trustworthy.

So often we find it easier to worry than to turn to God, why is that? Are we too busy? Do we forget that He is our help?

When we are in the middle of troubles it is difficult to see the way ahead. We can wonder why this is happening to us. What is the future; often it is something we would like to know. We need to leave it to God, He has His reasons.
‘He knows the way that I take; when He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.’ Job 23:10

God doesn’t promise to remove the tribulation, but He does promise to be with us in our troubles.
If only everyone could know about the Lord of God and worship Him.

We are probably very much off the mark in our ideas about heaven, although Revelations does tell us some things about it. But our human minds are so limited.

There can be times when we might feel that our prayer goes no higher than the ceiling. But if we our prayer is connected with a growing closeness to God, then it will be effective.
‘The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.’ James 5:16
