God is in control of everything. We do not need to run the world. He has only asked us to be obedient and tell others of His judgement and love.

‘For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes.’ Romans 1:16

Sin is deeper than we ever recognised, righteousness higher than we ever realised and judgement closer than we ever realised.

‘He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgement.’ John 16:8

Are we sometimes afraid or terrified about the future. We don’t need to be; God goes with us and before us.

‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord our God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.’ Deuteronomy 31:6

There can be many worries and dangers in life. Problems seem to come to us from all directions. What can we do about it?

‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.’ Psalm 3:5-6

Difficult times help us to rely more on God. Sorrow and suffering help us to grow. In everything God has our good at heart.

‘You are good and what You do is good.’ Psalm 119:68

What is the New Year resolution going to be? You can’t do much better than this.

I am left-handed in a right-handed world. Right handed people never have the problems that I have or understand them. Nevertheless God will protect me with His right hand. That’s enough for me.
