‘See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God.’ 1 John 3:1
I love the word ‘lavished’. It sounds so generous. God hasn’t given to us grudgingly but lavishly. He’s given so much and so many gifts. So that we could be called the ‘children of God.’ Awesome.
