This is not something that could be said of me. So often I run before the Lord and don’t wait for His leading.

Be encouraged.I have conquered the world. John 16:33

In the light of this, we should never be fearful. God has it all in control.

Do not be afraid, for there are more with us than there are with them.

2 Kings 6:16

I often forget this or act as if I am on my own. I forget that God is there in control of everything.

I will convict you in order to change you, but will never accuse you in order to shame you.

I found this comforting. There is enough in this life to accuse me. I want to be convicted in order for God to change me.

We …beseech you that you receive not the grace of God in vain.

1 Corinthians 6:1

This is something which needs our prayer.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will counsel you with My loving eye on you. Psalm 32:8

God has a loving and all-seeing eye. So that when I can’t see the way ahead, I can trust Him to care for me and provide the best..

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1

I don’t care how He created, the important thing is that it was God who created it.

I cried out to my God for help. I cried out to God to hear me…………..Yes I will remember Your miracles of long ago. I will consider all Your works and meditate on your mighty deeds. Psalms 77:1 & 12

In many of the psalms David cries out in despair and then, as in this psalm remembers all that God has done and he is able to praise him. This is something we can do when we are in despair, turn to God and remember.

After Job had prayed for his friends, God made him prosperous. Job 42:10

I’ve only just noticed this sentence. So we can for others more consistently.

I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in. revelations 3:20

We read this about the church in Laodicia. They were described as neither hot or cold. For myself I pray that my enthusiasm for the gospel may never cease.
